NOTE: The Lewis & Clark Hotshots also serve as the Northern Region's (Region 1) only Training and Development crew. Each season they accept between 6-8 "detailers." To qualify for a detail position, the applicant must a be a permanent, career-conditional employee.

Also, unlike other training and development crews like the Redding Hotshots, or the Redmond Hotshots - Lewis & Clark do accept temporary / seasonal employees.
